Well, here it is! Issue 175 of Australian 4WD Action hit the shelves this week on the 4th of January. Featured in this issue is the travel article on the 4WD hotspot that is the Brunswick/Collie region south of Perth.
Special mention goes out to Drew on this one. Drew came along in the little Suzuki Jimny and puts up with my constant fiddling with camera setups and frequent stops for pictures on all the trips we do together. On many occasions, Drew has repeatedly tackled an obstacle in pursuit of the ultimate picture.
Anyway, pick up a copy from any decent newsagent until the end of the month and let us know what you thought!

I love this shot and they loved it just as much as I did because they now have it hanging up on their wall at home. Yay! Possibility my favourite shot from this session.
Or this one could also be my favourite, the sun was so beautiful and they’re so in love!
Kate and David are getting married this Saturday (4 more days Kate!) and I am so excited to be shooting it, it is going to be truly wonderful.

We spent almost all of our time this year studying at Central Institute of Technology (apart from sundays when study was done at home!) Alex gained his Diploma in Photoimaging while I completed my Advanced Diploma in Photography and had my work exhibited for the first time in our group exhibition ’21 Eyes’. We’re so excited to find out what 2012 has in store for us.
New Years Resolution: Use less plastic
This image would have to be one of my favourites for 2011. My twin brother Russell and his stunning girlfriend Cindy. I just love this spontaneous moment between them.

When we left home in Byford on the morning of the wedding it was pouring with rain, yet as we got closer to Tom and Katy’s house the rain seemed to disappear and it became sunnier and brighter and stayed that way for the whole day. Thank you mother nature!
Katy put these pretty little flowers together herself the day before the wedding.
Katy and Tom got ready together at their house in South Guildford, and just before I had the chance to ask ‘Where’s Tom?’ he walked in wearing this vest and announced that he was dressed ready for the ceremony.
The Rosehill Country Club was such a beautiful spot for their ceremony, the vines all over the roof are a beautiful touch.
Their ceremony was hands down the sweetest, honest and most intimate ceremony I have ever heard filled with love and laughter. It is so obvious how right these two are for each other.
Their cake looked fairly traditional from the front, but once you walked around the back their true personalities were revealed! The back of the cake resembles a mine site which is where Katy and tom both work and met, the lens and tripod represents Katy’s passion for photography and who could forget their much loved cat.
Katy and Tom – thanks so much for letting us be a part of your wedding, I can’t wait for you to see the rest of the photos when you get back from your honeymoon!
